Security check and CRB disclosure:

As promised to our clients, everyone at Prehoc Solutions Ltd will be subject to a minimum of both a security check and Basic CRB disclosure, with the results of these available as necessary to our clients. Naturally, if our clients wish to carry out their own checks as part of a contract, we will do everything we can to assist.

Today we have received the completed checks for our director; all clear of course and it is nice to be able to demonstrate this fact to our clients.

We would like to thank all the staff at www.peoplecheck.co.uk for their help with these checks, and are happy to recommend their services.

Talk Talk update:

Following the issue with talk talk business breaking our phone between 14th and 18th April, as well as the ADSL connection from 21st-25th April, they have stated in a letter that they consider they have met their obligations fully under their SLA.

Accordingly, the process to remove their services has begun, and again we are advising all clients to avoid this company as they do not consider it necessary to provide a stable service outside of the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.

Depending on individual client requirements, we have available details of numerous other suppliers, all of whom are able to provide a better service.

As a further aside, this note was added during the 20 minutes (and counting) that we have been left on hold to Talk Talk's customer service team.

Phone line working again:

Talk talk has finally fixed the phone line; despite 'testing it and finding no fault' they had apparently 'upgraded' the line to the new system and forgotten to set one of the two pieces of data that allows the phone line to work.

Of course, having been down for 4 working days (for those of us that often work weekends) they offer exactly ZERO money back for lack of service. Apparently it needs to be down for 5 non-weekend days for to consider that. This is despite preventing card transactions being handled for 4 days!

Further, although the fault is fixed, they still have an open ticket and think it isn't fixed.

The cost required to break the contract with them is small in comparison to transferring to a phone company who *do* care about their customers, *do* know when they break things and *do* call back within the stated time scale.

We do *NOT* recommend Talk Talk business to our clients, and would suggest seeking alternatives.

Phone line problems:

Currently our phone lines are not working. Despite the message Talk Talk Business are choosing to relay ("this line is not in service") the actual error is that they are having problems at the local exchange.

We apologise to any clients who have tried to contact us during the period of this fault, and would ask you please to send an email via the contact page.

Except in the case of our phone lines into the office, all of our communications have at least one backup route that can be switched in during faults and outages, so you can be certain that we will receive your message.

If this fault extends past Monday 18th April, we will be considering a change of provider.
